Wow, what a lovely reaction from people on LinkedIn.

A few weeks ago one of Tom Noble's posts about building Chateau Noble, his wine company, caught my eye.

He came across as genuine in how he talked about building a business, so I started following.

Over the susbequent couple of weeks his posts have been honest about how hard it is, and I think anyone who has started a business can relate to that.

He's trying to build a following around himself through his story while making the business work at the same time, which is a really tough balance.

So I bought a crate of wine from his site and offered to go and collect it. The plan is to drink said wine together and see if I can help.

Maybe not the whole crate in one go, but we'll see.

We also had a quick chat in the meantime, and my advice was to focus on the product a little more, and use his story to amplify it.

The wine comes from Château de la Vieille Tour in Saint-Michel-de-Lapujade, southern Bordeaux, a family estate established in 1839 and now managed by the sixth generation of the Boissonneau family.

The estate's clay and limestone soils, combined with certified organic and biodynamic vineyard practices, create wines that express the character of this story, and the passion in which it is produced.

If Tom's story has caught your eye too, a bottle or two is probably the best support you can give.

See you next week Tom!
