This photo is me and Ed, my co-founder at 7DOTS, on a recent trip to Poland.

I'm in the gym. Ed's in the pool, swimming against a jet flow.

Both working out, but in our own way.

It made me smile, because it captures something I've thought about for years. We are genuinely quite different people. We think differently. We recharge differently.

But even if we don't always choose the same activity, our values are the same:

Care for people, make a difference, and stay sharp enough to do both well.

That's always been the foundation of how we work. We don't approach everything the same way, but we want the same things at the end of it.

The values make it work while the differences make it interesting.

And the fact that we were in Poland to celebrate our first employee being with us for 15 years also makes me incredibly happy.
