Four insight dishes from the past week
Looking for some light-hearted insights on a Friday afternoon?

Here's my "Friday Takeaway". Four insight dishes from the past week...
- The energy of "The Pitch"
We’ve been working on multiple pitches this week. If I'm honest, there is nothing quite better than the energy that comes from them. Working with the team collaborate with such enthusiasm to solve a client's challenge is what I love about this job.
It’s a reminder that the best work doesn't come from a silent room of one; it comes from the messy, noisy intersection of different ideas, from different people.
- You can't see the full picture internally
We’ve been doing some deep work on the 7DOTS proposition. It’s easy to start going round in circles when you do this! You try to perfect it, but you just end up overthinking it.
It reminded me of the value of the "outside-in" lens. It is incredibly hard to read the label when you are inside the jar. I spend a lot of time advising organisations on this, but sometimes it’s good to be reminded that I need that external input just as much as they do.
- The rollercoaster of life, requires coping methods
My 5am routine had slipped recently. But I’m getting back into it now, and feeling so good for it.
I was reminded this week, thanks to Chris Wimshurst, that challenging situations require measures to cope with them. And that's just life. You need time for yourself. Building good habits isn't just about productivity; it’s about building the resilience to handle whatever the day throws at you. Thanks Chris.
- The people behind the "roles"
We had our Christmas party this week. The energy in the office beforehand was brilliant, but the party itself was even more special. I haven't laughed as much for a long time.
It was just lovely to spend time chatting to everyone outside of the usual context. We spend so much time focusing on the work, that it's easy to forget to simply enjoy the people we are working with.
I’m Sam Page, I love to sit at the intersection of business, digital, and people, helping leaders use technology to deliver commercial objectives with a positive human impact.
I share insights on digital, compassionate leadership, neurodiversity, and how to move customers from interest and intent to action.
At 7DOTS, we help considered-purchase brands navigate digital complexity, establish clarity, and grow with confidence.
