# Five key outtakes for senior leaders from the Business Leader event today in London.

With over 500 CEOs in attendance it was a great day to network and hear people’s challenges and advice.

Headline speakers included William S. from Deliveroo, Simon Arora from B&M and Richard Harpin from HomeServe UK and many other amazing speakers.

Five key outtakes that I took away from the talks...

1. Do something you love. It’s hard work if you don’t.

2. Focus on your strengths and delegate the other bits to people who are better at them.

3. Move at pace and be prepared to fail. That’s how you stay ahead.

4. Keep it simple. Don’t boil the ocean.

5. Listen to other people AND trust your instinct.

And last but not least, I have realised I waffle as my videos go on... will try and improve that!
