Channel 4’s Un-Algorithmy Algorithm is putting a real smile on my face...

It might be ironic for a technology enthusiast like me to champion a recommendation system that sidelines complex algorithms. But that’s precisely why I love Channel 4's new “Un-algorithmy” algorithm: it puts human-curated collections—like Meltdowns (The Snowman, Married At First Sight) and Shows That Suck (Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners)—front and centre.

In my opinion, it’s a brilliant reminder that tech should elevate the human experience, not overshadow it. Who knows—this fresh approach could spark better, more empathetic uses of technology in the future.
