Back in 2011, Paul Laroy joined 7DOTS as our first official employee as an intern developer. At the time he was still studying at Kingston University....

14 years later, I'm incredibly grateful to say that he's still with us and I'm proud to share that he has been promoted to Technical Director.

Ed Gossage did a brilliant post earlier in the week (https://lnkd.in/eRDivHgM), but I couldn't let this moment pass without saying thank you and congratulations in my own words.

Over the years Paul's grown with the company, as much as the company has grown with him. Taking on more responsibility, shaping how we work, and mentoring others who have joined along the way.

His contribution has been fundamental to 7DOTS becoming what it is today.

Beyond his contribution to the company, Paul has also become a great friend. He's someone I want to spend more time with, both inside and outside of work, and that says everything you need to know.

So congratulations Paul Laroy, on the latest promotion. You throughly deserve it, and THANK YOU, for your support, effort and creativity over the past 14 years.

It's a privilege to call you a colleague and a friend, and here's to the next 14 years.
